In February 2017, a group of compassionate individuals from the Khandesh region, specifically from the Jalgaon District, came together with a vision to uplift the lives of the underprivileged. This collective effort led to the formation of the Noor E Khandesh Educational And Welfare Trust (NKT), an NGO dedicated to serving the poor, needy, and deserving children, especially widows, unmarried women, and elderly women who are helpless and marginalized. Registered on June 21, 2017, under the Mumbai Public Trust Act of 1950, with Regd No E33250 (Mumbai), NKT aims to provide education, training, and financial independence to women and children who need it the most. The trust is managed by a group of highly qualified trustees, each with rich social experience and a deep commitment to making a positive difference in society.
